ALASKA, The Great Frontier!!

Visit The Amazing land of Alaska with me.

Alaska, The Great Frontier!!!

I ask myself... Where we can go and enjoy the
great outdoors!? I have to admit that one of these places is The Great Frontier of Alaska!! Last month I was fortunate enough to travel to this amazing land. There are only a few places in the world that can compare with the grandeur and breathtaking beauty of Alaska. Boarding the Cruise ship Ryndam I traveled along the Inside passage. One of the Highlights of course was viewing the Grand Glaciers. Among the many stops I was able to Snorkel in the cool Alaskan Waters with thousands of Jellyfish. (Yes you heard that right!!) Zipline through a Rain Forest, as well as visit Denali National Park. If you are a nature lover and want to enjoy the Great Outdoors I encourage you to visit ALASKA!!

Summer vacation

Summer Vacations, Summer Dreams!!

Summertime I think is a wonderful time for Photographers. The sites and moments of people enjoying the great outdoors are endless. Have you ever just stopped to watch a few children playing at the park or beach? To see the innocence in them playing in the park, making sand castles at the beach or just sharing a special moment with their friends. There are BBQ'S galore, the gastronomic wonderland of picnics and family friends, and of course Wedding Ceremonies.
Traveling is also apparent at this time of year. I myself am looking forward to a vacation on an Alaskan Cruise next month. I am so excited to take along my camera and capture some unique and interesting photos to share here on my blog!

I invite you to open your eyes. Take in a snapshot of the world around you. Look at what a wonderful world we live in. Stop and smell the roses!!
Happy Photographing,

Picazzo's

My most recent photo shoot landed me in Scottsdale, Arizona. When traveling I am always just a bit nervous about my equipment. I always hand carry my camera, lenses and just about everything I need. ( A heavy carry on I might add!) This time however, I needed to check in my lights, a light box and a few other items that I needed to make this photo shoot a success. After wrapping and rewrapping my light bulbs in bubble wrap I handed over my equipment to the airline staff. I prayed the equipment would remain intact.
Arriving at Sky Harbor International in Phoenix, my bags were the first off the plane. Of course I did a check of my equipment. It had made the quick one hour journey unharmed. Hoorah! Over the course of the next 2 days I took numerous photos of Picazzo's Organic Italian Kitchens' Location and menu items. It is a challenge to do a photo shoot during working hours, but I think I accomplished what I set out to do. What do you think?

Weddings on the horizon!!

Hello To all of you!

Well all I can say is I am glad to be back! I think it is in the nick of time!!!
I have been without my trusty computer for a few months. I realize now with todays technology, it is difficult to get anywhere without one. From sending and receiving emails, to advertising and just plain editing photos. It has reminded me the importance of patience.
For things are never given to you when you want them but when you least expect them. Such is the case for the computer sitting here before me. I am truly Blessed. My prayers were answered.
I continue to photograph Events at Hamilton Oaks Winery. I am meeting wonderful people as well as enjoying a lovely glass of wine!
